Sandstone

A sedimentary rock composed of sand grains glued together by silica or calcium carbonate. Sandstone is prevalant in the state of Utah - being a core component of the landscapes of Bryce Canyon, Zion, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

Sandstone is the dominant feature in Fiery Furnace of Arches National Park, Utah.
